A two-level apartment is traditionally divided into a public zone on the first floor and a private zone on the second floor. The space of the first floor is equipped with sliding partitions which can create a variety of spatial combinations of rooms (e.g. entrance hall, living room, kitchen-dining room or two offices) at the owners' behest. Bright walls and a dark floor serve as a backdrop for the collection of paintings and carpets.
